I’m part of an on-the-ground team doing research to measure the carbon stored in the South Taconic Plateau—a geographic landmass located in Massachusetts, New York, and Connecticut. I have a passion for learning and being outdoors and am excited to be contributing to an important body of climate science knowledge.

Currently, I’m pursuing an undergraduate degree in environmental science at SUNY ESF. Prior to joining Woodwell Climate, I worked with Southwest ACE Americorps and led backcountry camping trips as president of the University at Buffalo Outdoor Adventure Club. These experiences gave me a strong background in wilderness safety and outdoor leadership. In the future, I would love to pursue a career in GIS and cartography, while staying connected with my background in field work and earth science. I always enjoy networking and meeting new people!

In my free time, I play and write music—bass, drums, piano, and I am learning guitar. I also love to backpack, and have a goal to eventually become a triple crowner (someone who has hiked the length of the Appalachian, Pacific Crest, and Continental Divide trails).
