Anna Gagné-Landmann develops models of soil processes and permafrost dynamics in the Arctic-boreal region. She assists the Arctic team in accessing low-cost sensors to help increase the coverage of gas flux monitoring across the Arctic, which will inform decision making around adaptation and mitigation.
Gagné-Landmann has experience designing and implementing the land component of an Earth systems model, as well as helping build a calibration instrument and optimize methane sensors. She is currently earning her master’s degree in physics at Laval University in Quebec.
In her spare time, Gagné-Landmann likes to pursue her passion for dance and hopes to one day lead a documentary-style artistic production on climate processes.
