I work with the Evolving MetaEcosystems Institute (EVOME), assisting with research on the genomics of willow trees and setting up a common garden experiment at Toolik Field Station.
My research will help build our understanding of how climate change is impacting Arctic ecosystems. I am interested in conservation and habitat restoration, and am passionate about countering climate change with my work. I currently also work in the University of Connecticut’s Plant Computational Genomics lab as an undergrad researcher.
I have a deep admiration for the outdoors. In my free time, I enjoy swimming as a hobby—I was a competitive swimmer in high school.
