Ms. Madeleine Holland is a member of Woodwell Climate’s fast-growing Risk team. She utilizes climate model output to understand the hazards of a changing climate on national security issues and climate-induced tensions around the world.
After years of hiking the rugged White Mountains of New Hampshire and swimming in the pristine waters of Cape Code, Ms. Holland developed a profound respect and admiration for the natural environment. Her work in the field of climate science is motivated by a desire to preserve Earth’s resources and beauty for generations to come.
She received her B.S. in Civil Engineering from University of Connecticut (2018) and M.S. in Hydrometeorology from University of Arizona (2020).
