Co-Founder and Managing Partner, BioVentures Investors
Mr. Marc Goldberg is co-founder and Managing Partner of BioVentures Investors of Wellesley, Massachusetts. He brings almost 40 years of managerial and investment experience in the life science and healthcare sectors.
Prior to joining BioVentures, Mr. Goldberg served as President and CEO of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Research Institute. He served in numerous executive roles at Safer, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of novel biopesticides and related products, and started his career at Genetics Institute, one of the earliest biotechnology research and development companies.
Mr. Goldberg co-founded and served as founding president of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council in 1985, served four terms as President, and was a Director from inception until 1997.
Mr. Goldberg is a member of the Harvard Medical School Advisory Council on Discovery, serves as Chairman Emeritus of the Harvard Varsity Club and is a member of the Board of Directors for both Step by Step Supportive Services and the Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for BrainBox Solutions, Endotronix, Verax Biomedical, BioFeedback Design, Cardiosolutions, HydroCision, Revivo Therapeutics and Rachiotek.
Mr. Goldberg earned his B.A. from Harvard College, his J.D. from Harvard Law School, and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
