Miles Grant oversees national media relations for Woodwell Climate Research Center, raising awareness of our scientists’ latest research and connecting them with reporters. He also helps them tell their stories directly through Woodwell’s Canopy magazine, monthly newsletter, and blog.
A lifelong lover of wildlife, the ocean and the outdoors and a longtime advocate for climate action, Miles comes to Woodwell Climate with over 20 years of media and strategic communications experience, previously working at the National Wildlife Federation, the McLaughlin Group, and local television stations including WJLA-TV/News Channel 8 in Washington, DC, WJAR-TV in Providence, RI and WPTZ-TV in Plattsburgh, NY/Burlington, VT. Miles graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in broadcast journalism.
