Dr. Shree Dangal is an ecosystem modeler interested in understanding the impacts of multiple environmental changes on terrestrial ecosystems. In particular, his research focuses on developing and applying land models to investigate the role of climate, disturbance and land use change on net primary productivity and soil organic carbon. Recently, he has quantified the impacts of climate change and grazing on grassland productivity and greenhouse gas balance at multiple scales.
Dr. Dangal holds a B.S. in Forestry from Tribhuvan University of Nepal, a M.S. in Environmental Science from Lehigh University, and a Ph.D. in Forestry from Auburn University.
