Tamara Serata

Tamara Serata oversees a diverse and dynamic portfolio of programs and provides support in interpreting, applying, and ensuring compliance with donor obligations, organizational policies, and industry best practices. She is passionate about harnessing her expertise in federal grant management and compliance to help address climate change.

Serata has spent over a decade in the nonprofit sector—first in operations, where she helped build international environmental nonprofit Wildland Restoration International by creating systems and processes and writing policy. Through that work, she developed an interest in federal grant management and compliance, and went on to earn certificates in federal grant management and become an advanced CNAP (Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional).

Serata recognizes that it is an honor and a privilege for Woodwell Climate to receive funds in support of our work, and is committed to ensuring that the organization stewards those funds with excellence and integrity.
