Amy Gemmell is a human resources generalist who supports Woodwell’s people and culture department in building a diverse and productive work environment. She has experience in leadership and strategy, talent planning and acquisition, learning and development, and employee engagement.
Prior to Joining Woodwell, Gemmell worked across various industries from telecommunication to human services, and seafood processing. She has hands-on administrative and strategic experience aligning organizational strategies with human resources best practices. She enjoys problem solving and building a people-first culture in the places she works, based on the concepts of simplicity, sustainability, and equity.
Gemmell has a Senior Professional Human Resources certificate and Bachelor of Arts from Colorado State University. Gemmell enjoys spending time with her family and in her spare time, you can find her on the golf course year round.
