Fred Palmer has broad experience in landscaping, construction, wastewater systems and general maintenance. At Woodwell Climate, Palmer is responsible for the interior and exterior maintenance of the Ordway Campus buildings and grounds.
His responsibilities include the mechanical systems, the wind turbine, photovoltaic arrays, and the innovative wastewater system. He holds a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor’s license. Palmer has been with the Center since 2003, when the George M. Woodwell building was completed. Previously, he has held positions with Tisbury Public Works on Martha’s Vineyard, and as crew chief for building supply, excavation, and landscaping companies.
