S.D. Hines is a Google.org Fellow working on the Permafrost Discovery Gateway project. She is also an Enterprise Customer Engineer at Google with a specialty in Data Analytics.
Hines’ relentless pursuit of understanding the “why” behind numbers fuels her passion for drilling into data to uncover actionable insights. Prior to joining Google, Hines founded a blockchain travel tech startup, where she sold software to airlines to help them digitize their vouchers. Her experience as an entrepreneur has taught her the importance of perseverance, creativity, and innovation in the ever-changing world of technology.
When Hines is not working or spending time with her family, she enjoys trading cryptocurrency and restoring her beloved 1994 Ford Bronco.
