Tracy Barquinero

As an experienced project manager, Ms. Tracy Barquinero oversees much of the day-to-day operations under the Arctic program, including providing interdisciplinary support to the Permafrost Pathways project and its partners. From budget supervision to managing timelines, she keeps high-level projects moving forward and ensures their compliance with organizational goals.

Prior to her role as the Arctic Project Manager, Barquinero joined Woodwell in 2011 as a member of the administrative team, where she managed contracts and budgets for sponsored research projects in science and administration.

Barquinero has an extensive professional history in grant administration and office management. Previously, she was a member of the Senior Leader Team at Westminster-Canterbury of the Blue Ridge, a non-profit retirement community in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Barquinero received her B.S. in Business Administration from SUNY at Utica/Rome in Rome, New York, and her M.S. in Library and Information Science from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts.
