Director of Government Affairs, World Resources Institute
Ms. Christina DeConcini is Director of Government Affairs at the World Resources Institute (WRI) where she focuses primarily on overseeing WRI’s legislative work and strategy on climate change and energy issues, leads WRI in engagement with businesses to pursue ambitious climate policy in the US and has spoken on these issues in a number of forums. Christina also leads WRI’s US climate impacts work and resiliency work.
Prior to joining WRI ten years ago, Ms. DeConcini spent 20 years representing and advocating for the rights of immigrants and refugees, serving as the Director of Policy and Advocacy in several national organizations and has written and spoken frequently on issues related to climate change as well immigration and refugee policies.
Ms. DeConcini has a law degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and an undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego.
