Shishi Chen is a Google.org Fellow working on the Permafrost Discovery Gateway project. She has been a software engineer at Google NYC for 10 years, working in-depth with time series and distributed systems for Google Cloud Monitoring.
Chen is excited to continue this same type of work while also learning about permafrost. Prior to joining Google, she grew up in Massachusetts and studied computer science at Stanford University.
In her free time, Chen enjoys playing chamber music, trail running, and petting her dog Peppercorn.
