Tara Broadhurst

Tara Broadhurst manages the Talent Acquisition process, as well as onboarding programs and retention efforts within the People & Culture team. She provides overall support to the Center in areas of succession planning, sourcing, identifying, and qualifying candidates, and drives collaborative processes in these areas that align with the Center’s strategic plan. She works closely with employee supervisors to coach and train hiring committees on best practices, diversity and inclusion, and compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Americans with Disabilities Act.

Broadhurst has expertise in recruiting processes, applicant tracking systems, negotiations, and closing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Suffolk University, with a concentration in marketing. Broadhurst has worked within advanced science, software, and consulting services for catastrophe risk management, capital markets, consumer electronics, and life science sectors. Broadhurst also has a background in coaching sports in her hometown of Barnstable, MA, and appreciates the similarities between coaching and recruiting—helping people shine and put their best foot forward.

Outside of work, Broadhurst is a Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho system of natural healing. She is proud to have swum across the Boston Harbor multiple times for the Sharkfest 1500 meter race from East Boston to the Moakley Courthouse in the Seaport.
