Ms. Wendy Kingerlee is Woodwell Climate’s Sponsored Research Office (SRO) Manager as well as the Authorized Organizational Representative (AOR) for government proposals and awards. She guides the scientific staff through the pre-award and post-award process, assisting in accurate and efficient budget preparation, proposal submission, compliance and contracts, and accepts funding on behalf of Woodwell.
The SRO supports the Woodwell Climate research community by identifying government funding opportunities, establishing policies related to sponsored program funding, and serving as a formal liaison with the sponsor on administrative changes throughout the life of the award. Ms. Kingerlee works closely with People & Culture, Finance, and Research staff.
Ms. Kingerlee was previously employed by the Agriculture Department in the County of Santa Cruz, California. She received her B.S. in Plant and Soil Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
