Facing Extreme Heat: Vulnerability & Resilience

Kaneb Webinar Series

Climate change is making severe summer heat and humidity worse and the harm isn’t being spread evenly, with vulnerable communities facing more risk from extreme weather and higher energy bills. COVID-19 adds another layer to the challenges and disparities. Zach Zobel, WHRC risk scientist, and Eugenia Gibbons, Boston Director of Climate Policy at Health Care Without Harm, will look at the latest climate science and discuss how we can design policy to promote climate justice.
