Cleantech Investor
Dr. Gail Greenwald is an active seed-level investor and an experienced senior executive with more than 25 years of experience in managing technology-based organizations. She has been an angel investor since 2010 and has invested in more than 20 early-stage companies, mostly focused on clean/renewable energy, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
Greenwald is an affiliate member and past director of the Launchpad Venture Group and an emeritus member of the Clean Energy Venture Group. She serves on the board of Ceres and is also a former director and past chair of the Sierra Club Foundation. She has served on the board of three of her portfolio companies, the MIT Climate Action Advisory Committee, the investment advisory board of NYSERDA, and the investment advisory group at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center.
Greenwald holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from MIT and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
