  • Grant and Contracts Finance Manager

I collaborate across multiple teams at Woodwell Climate—Sponsored Research, Foundation Relations, and Finance—to provide grant and project finance support to principal investigators and scientists. I have strong problem-solving skills, and bring them to all the aspects of my role, including budget monitoring and forecast analysis, financial reporting, award compliance, cash flow management, and audit support.

After several years as a wedding photographer, I chose the world of grant management for its calm and order. With over a decade of experience in post-award management and grant accounting, it was a good decision. I’ve been part of the grant and fundraising teams at Action Against Hunger, Girls Scouts of the USA, Physicians for Human Rights, and where it all started, the California State Parks Foundation. I only go to weddings as a guest now.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my 15-year-old dog. Her name is Diamond (nickname Sunshine) and she’s a boxer terrier mutt I adopted from the local NYC shelter. In my younger years, I was a snowboarder and a mountain biker; as the latter, I nearly fell off a cliff at Lake Tahoe after a head on collision with another biker. Now in my vintage era, I enjoy literature, the latest Netflix/Apple series, and ensuring my dog has the best life.
