I am collecting and analyzing field and laboratory data on sediments, plants, and water to evaluate how restoration affects salt marsh ecosystems. I am also monitoring changes in carbon cycling, hydrology, and vegetation at restoration sites in the Waquoit Bay area.
I have a passion for learning—whether I’m conducting research, working in the field, or collaborating with others, I enjoy asking questions, building new skills, and using science to better understand and address real-world challenges. I recently graduated from Bowdoin College with a B.A. in Biochemistry and Environmental Studies, and this fall I will begin an M.P.H. in Epidemiology and Environmental Health at Brown University. I am interested in exploring careers in medicine, epidemiology, and environmental science, with a focus on using research to improve human and environmental health.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, biking, and spending time outdoors. I grew up coming to Cape Cod every summer and feel at home here, but I also love traveling and exploring new places.
