In the role of Chief Philanthopric Officer, Ms. Leslie Kolterman leads the Development team at Woodwell Climate Research Center, overseeing a comprehensive fundraising program. Partnering with senior leadership, scientists, and staff to develop cultivation and solicitation strategies for funding priorities, she also works with the Board of Directors and the Development Committee in broadening the base of support for Woodwell Climate.
Ms. Kolterman joined the Woodwell Climate team with a strong history of fundraising achievement and leadership. She has served as the Director of Development at McLean Hospital and previously held roles as Assistant Dean for Development and Alumni Relations at Boston University School of Public Health, Senior Director of Development and Alumni Relations at Tufts University School of Medicine, Director of Leadership Gifts at Harvard Medical School, and Major Gift Officer at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Ms. Kolterman holds a Master’s of Arts in Teaching from the University of Iowa, and a B.A. in English from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. She enjoys traveling, cycling and cooking up a storm.
