Matti Goldberg

I connect Woodwell Climate’s research with global climate policy processes, nurturing a mutually supportive relationship between science and international policymaking.

I spent 15 years with the UN Climate Change secretariat, supporting global climate negotiations towards the Paris Agreement and other multilateral climate frameworks. I have extensive expertise in climate change adaptation and climate-security links, and researched science-policy linkages for my doctoral study. I hold a master’s degree in international relations from the University of Munich.
