I oversee the Talent Acquisition process at Woodwell Climate, ensuring that our practices for succession planning, recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new hires align with our strategic plan. My role involves collaborating with employee supervisors and senior management throughout the entire hiring lifecycle, from opening a new requisition to onboarding. I coach and train hiring committees on best practices while also ensuring compliance with federal employment law and fostering retention.
My expertise includes strategic and tactical planning, recruitment technology like Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), employer branding and marketing, analyzing data, and improving hiring processes. Networking, problem-solving, and organizational skills are also crucial for attracting and closing top talent and managing the full recruiting cycle.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a marketing concentration from Suffolk University. My professional background spans over ten years in human resources and talent acquisition, encompassing diverse sectors such as advanced science, software, catastrophe risk management, capital markets, consumer electronics, and consulting.
In high school and college, I played and coached sports in my hometown of Barnstable, MA. I also helped create the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) taskforce at Suffolk University with a focus on removing barriers and providing equal access for people with learning disabilities. This experience translated well to talent acquisition and taught me how to help people shine and put their best foot forward.
I am a Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho system of natural healing—a practice that I find helps me to keep balance both in and out of the office. As I continue my athletic pursuits, I am proud to have swum across the Boston Harbor multiple times for the Sharkfest 1500-meter race from East Boston to the Moakley Courthouse in the Seaport.
