Woodwell Climate Conversations

Woodwell Climate Conversations: from the frontlines of climate action, sponsored by Chris and Lisa Kaneb
Mountainfilm on Tour

Mountainfilm on Tour is coming to Woodwell Climate Conversations, bringing a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and inspiring short documentary films curated from the Mountainfilm festival held every Memorial Day weekend in Telluride, Colorado.

Join us for an evening of film, discussion, and connection as we explore the challenges ahead and use the power of film, art, and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world. Featured films will include Arctic Alchemy, Let My People Go Skiing, and This is a Story About Salmon.

President & CEO Max Holmes and Senior Scientist Sue Natali will lead a short conversation after the films.

Learn more about the films and register in advance for this in-person only event.

Woodwell Climate Conversations is a monthly event series designed to engage our community and foster meaningful discussion about climate change and its impacts.

This series provides a platform for both in-person and virtual discussions, workshops, and presentations.

Join us each month as we bring together experts, thought leaders, and community members to explore the latest climate science, the work being done at Woodwell Climate Research Center, and the steps we can all take toward a sustainable future.

Each event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 5:00pm, events start at 6:00pm in the Harbourton Auditorium.
