I provide portfolio stewardship and monitor grant compliance as part of Woodwell’s Grants and Contracts Finance team, supporting our scientists in managing their awarded funding. I’m grateful to work with an organization that supports my values of conservation and education.
My expertise is in financial compliance, grant accounting, and portfolio management across multi-million dollar awards. I have more than 8 years of experience managing the full post-award lifecycle for federally and privately funded sponsored projects within academic and nonprofit environments. I acquired my Research Administration experience while working at Simmons University, Vanderbilt University, and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I’m a lifelong learner, and enjoy working in an adaptive and collaborative environment.
I am also a dedicated vegetarian and an enthusiastic environmentalist, and I love reading, spending time with my family, and getting outdoors. While my spouse and I have lived in many different places, we are glad to have come home to Cape Cod with our cats and pet snake.
