Dr. Gail Greenwald is an active seed-level investor and an experienced senior executive with more than 25 years’ experience in management of technology-based organizations. She has been an angel investor since 2010 and has invested in more than 20 early-stage companies, mostly focused on clean/renewable energy, sustainability, and energy efficiency.

Dr. Greenwald is a member and past director of the Launchpad Venture Group and an emeritus member of the Clean Energy Venture Group. She is also a former director and past chair of the Sierra Club Foundation. She is a member of the investor advisory board of NYSERDA and has served on the board of three of her portfolio companies, the MIT Climate Action Advisory Committee, and the investment advisory group at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center.

Dr. Greenwald holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from MIT and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
