Founder, Managing Member, and President, Eastern Funding, LLC
Mr. Michael Fanger is CEO of Eastern Funding LLC (“Eastern”), New York, NY, a company he founded in 1997. Eastern is a specialty finance lender to small businesses throughout the United States, a wholly owned subsidiary of Brookline Bank, Boston, MA, and one of the 40 largest bank-owned finance companies in the nation.
Prior to establishing Eastern he worked for Shawmut Bank, Boston, MA for 6 years beginning in 1981, and Medallion Funding Corp, NY, NY for 10 years. Mr. Fanger formerly was a member of the Supervisory Committee of a New York Chartered Credit Union.
Mr. Fanger holds a BA in Government from Colby College, Maine, and resides in Woods Hole, MA.
